What made me happy this month

August has been a pretty busy and eventful month, and I always enjoy doing a little round up to catch up on what’s been the best part of it.

1.       Going out with friends. For the first time since I moved here I went to an actual club, and guess what? It was fun. Surprisingly I went out twice and both time I had fun. I’m excited to do it again soon!

2.       Back to university. I went back to uni this month, and even though I’m not happy about spending so many hours at uni and so much homework, but I was glad to see my friends again. Catching up with them and going back to spending time with them was fun.

3.       I won a Sephora giveaway. Yes, I won 50$ to spend in Sephora and I actually got the stuff today and it was so amazing. I still can’t believe I won.

4.       Reunion with friends. I had a lovely reunion with two friends, who we used to be really closed back when I was in 8^th grade. It was nice to catch up and know that we are still friends.

5.       Baking cookies. I don’t remember when the last time I baked before this month was. I remembered how relaxing and fun baking can actually be. Now, I’m finding stupid excuses to bake.

6.       Voting for the first time. Early this month, I voted for the first time and it was such an incredible experience.

7.       Formosa sunset. I remembered my mom saying “look at the sunset”, I turned and saw this beautiful sunset right behind me.

8.       Skype with friends. Since we are all spread around the globe, it was really nice to find some time and catch up with them.

9.       Forever 21 clothes. I ordered some clothes in Forever 21 this month, which surprisingly haven’t done in a while, and I loved them all, I talked about some of them on my previous post.

10.   Reading for fun. With so much to read for school last semester I was happy to finally find some time to relax and read something I actually want to read.

11.    Pancakes. My grandma came over and she made me pancakes which were delicious and it was really nice from her.

12.   New semester. It’s so nice to start a new semester, it’s a fresh start with different subjects.

13.   Ed Sheeran, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis new song. I did mention this in my favorites, but this song is so amazing and it gives me goose bumps. I literally can’t stop listening.

July and August Favorites

Hi! Can you believe August is almost over? Where has this whole year go?

I decided to do July and August together since July was only exams and studying except for the last two weeks. So, grab some tea and prepare to read a lot on what I’ve been obsessing this past two months.

     

      1.       Faux leather white back pack. The moment I saw this backpack I needed to get it. I’ve been wanting a new bag for school for some time now and I wanted one big enough for it and traveling. I was surprise with the size when I got it, everything fits so perfectly, my laptop, agenda, water bottle, everything. Similar here and here.

     2.       Joggers. Comfiest pants ever anyone? This pants are the best thing out there, after a long day at university this are my go to pants. I’m also planning to wear them for: a. working out, b. comfy clothes after swimming, and c. finals or exams periods.

     3.       From Zara with Love 10ml perfume. I mean not only does it smell amazing but it’s so practical. The size just makes it so easy to carry everywhere. It’s like an emergency perfume everywhere you go.

      4.       Insta film Pandora Edition. I really love theme Polaroid print and this one is no exception, I used all of them on my trip because my friends and I really like the cute drawings on the size. Might be purchasing them again soon.

     5.       Relentlessly red lipstick. Can we all agree Mac lipsticks are the best? Even the smell is ah-mazing. I got this color because I was kind of sad they didn’t have any purple ones left and my mom helped me pick it up. I really wanted a more summer color sine the other Mac I had is more for the winter. Of course, it is mate because I’m pretty obsessed with the way they make my lips look.

  

     6.       Nine Stories by J.D. Salinger. No surprise here, another Salinger book. I still need to finish it but I’m really liking this stories. I really enjoy how he secretly adds a member of the Glass family every now and then (you’ll get it if you read the book and google it later). I highly recommend it if you enjoy Salinger and short stories.

      7.       El Clan by Pablo Trapero. I really really like this movie. I’ve never been an Argentinean movie love but I really like this one. It is a little violent and intense, I would not recommend to everyone but it is pretty interesting if you are into crimes and a little bit of Argentina history.

  

     

      8.       Not an Apology by Bea Miller. I can’t stop listening to this album. I’ve been a fan of Bea for a while and I was so excited with her new album. My favorite song is Force of Nature the lyrics are so beautiful and I love the acoustic sound it has compare to the more pop sound the rest of the songs have.

      9.       Growing up by Macklemore and RyanLewis Ft. Ed Sheeran. Every single time I hear this song I get goose bumps. The lyrics are so beautiful and I love the sound of their voices together. I’ll totally buy an album by this three.

     

    10.   Pen pals.  I’ve never had a pen pal before. The amazing Courtney runs this great Tumblr to connect people all over the world who are looking for pen pals and I’ve been obsessed ever since I got my first email. People are so nice and I love to read about their different cultures. It’s an amazing way to meet people from all over the world.

     11.   Painting mandalas. My mom and sisters would spent so much time painting mandalas and I finally gave in. it’s so relaxing, it may sound stupid but I swear it its. It also reminds me of when I was younger and I’ll spend hours coloring the coloring book my grandma got me.

   

   12.   Fairy lights. I don’t know for how long I’ve been wanting this and I finally got them. I love how Tumblr my room looks with them, they go so well with my Polaroid.

     

    

   13.   Rubbermaid water bottle. Maybe this is the most random piece of this list but I really like this one. I carry with me everywhere I go because it is so practical and it really does help me drink more water. It is also a really strong material and I can guarantee it won’t spill inside your bag.

Hello! It’s Tuesday which means is another outfit day. I wore this the other day to school and I loved it. The jeggings are so comfortable for school and the chocker is just amazing. Hello! Another outfit this week. I’m obviously not wearing this right now since it’s like 30 degrees here every day. But I honestly can’t wait for colder weather so I can wear leggings and boots. I love winter clothes so I’m so excited for this winter! This is something I will probably wear to college when it gets colder with maybe a jean shirt or a sweater. ¡Hola! Otro outfit esta semana. Claramente, no estoy usando esto ahora ya que hay 30 grados todos los días acá. Pero, honestamente, no puedo esperar a que haga más frio para usar calzas y botas. Me encanta la ropa de invierno y estoy muy emocionada por este invierno. Esto es algo que usaría para ir a la universidad, cuando hace más frio quizás con una remera de jean o un sweater. What’s in my College Bag?

Hello! I hope everyone had a lovely week and a great weekend! So all of this week posts have been related to college and this one is no different. Here are all the things I take in my college bag.

1.       Bag from Urban Outfitters. My bag is from Urban Outfitters which I had shown you before and is the perfect size to fit everything you need even the notebooks.

2.       Agenda. To remember all the homework and exams you might have. Mine was a gift and I don’t know where it is from but I’m sure you can find and agenda anywhere.

3.       Notebooks. I use a different for each class not to get mix up. I saw some really cute notebooks in Staples and Amazon. Mines are from here in Argentina, if you are from Argentina I’m sure you can buy them anywhere.

4.       Pencil case from Amazon. I don’t like taking too much stuff so I take this small pencil case which is enough to carry pens, and highlighters. I really like the design of this one, it was so cheap in amazon and you get four pencil case.

5.       Wallet from Forever 21.  A wallet of course, because you might need some money if you stay all day in school like me.

6.       Phone charger. Always take you charger everywhere you. Important life lesson I learn.

7.       Sunglasses from ray-ban. You never know.

8.       Glasses. If you are like me and can’t see, highly recommend special when you are in big classroom and you have to take a sit in the back.

9.       Make up bag form Victoria Secret. I don’t carry make up in here but I do carry lip-balm, tissue, and essentials for the day.

10.   A book. You never know if you suddenly have to wait around for someone so to kill time bring a book. Currently reading The Odyssey by Homero.

11.   A water bottle. Because all those hours listening your brain needs a little hydrations.

12.   iPad (not in the picture) or any other tablet. Because sometimes teachers send you pdf files or your reading for the next class is online and if you have time to kill why not work on that?

Hello! Another outfit for this week. This is what I wore on the first day of college yesterday! I didn’t want it to be a simple outfit so I thought the kimono added some fun to it. Also most of the clothes are a little old that I dug through my closet and found. The jeans were not ripped and actually did it myself and was really happy how they turn up. Hello! Another outfit I enjoyed wearing! I love the sporty yet chic vibe this one had. I wore it to the mall with a friend and I thought it was really comfortable and simple.  I showed this short in my previous outfit, and I’m loving how comfortable they are .The picture is not so good, because I did this in a rush and had to continue packing for going back home. Hope you enjoy it.

Hello! Another outfit for you! I really liked this one I wore a couple of days ago to my brother birthday celebration. I love this shirt, I wear it all the time and I think adding the jean shirt always makes an outfit better and keeps you warm if it gets cold. Anyways, the shorts are kind of old and I recently found them again. Hope you enjoy it!

Hello! Another week another outfit of the week! I don’t usually post summer outfits because if we are being honest I don’t really know how to dress during the summer, I prefer dressing during the winter. This one is really simple and what I wore to run a few errands. It will be also good for maybe when it’s a little bit colder, maybe autumn or spring, to wear with tights underneath, boots and maybe a jacket. Anyways, hope you are having a great week!

Another outfit! Little story behind this outfit. I had my college interview this week and put this Jean shirt and tight high wasted pants for a more formal look. I actually saw a similar look on Zoe Levin in Her TV show RedBand Society, who she plays Kara (The show is amazing, I highly recommend it :)). Anyways you know about my obsession for this tote and how comfortable it is. Hope you like it!

Otro outfit! Una corta historia respecto a este outfit. Tuve una entrevista de mi universidad esta semana y me puse esta remera de jean y pantalones negros para estar un poco formal. Vi un outfit parecido que Zoe Levin uso en la serie Red Band Society haciendo de Kara (la serie es muy buena, se la recomiendo). Igualmente, saben de mi obsesión con esta cartera y lo cómoda que es. Forever 21: Distressed Mid-Rise Boyfriend Jeans

This is the third time I’m blogging about this jeans but I can’t help it! I love them! Like I’ve mentioned before it was kind of cold in Buenos Aires so by wearing this I wasn’t too warm nor too cold. They were really useful for Miami at night.

¡Esta es la tercera vez que hablo sobre estos jeans, pero no puedo evitarlo! ¡Me encantan! Como dije antes estuvo haciendo más frio en Buenos Aires entonces usando estos no tenía ni tanto calor ni tanto frio. También los pude usar en Miami a la noche.

Urban Outfitters: Reversible Vegan Leather Tote Bag

This bag has been really useful this past few days. I’ve been doing lots of errands which involve carrying random things that could only fit in this bag. I’ve also could take my camera in here and a book to pass the time. As well as, taking it to the gym and put everything in there.

Este bolso tuvo buen uso estos últimos días. Estuve haciendo muchos mandatos que involucraban llevar cosas que solo entraban en esta cartera. También pude llevar mi cámara y un libro para pasar el tiempo. Al igual que las cosas para el gimnasio.

Essie: All in One

Last year I bought a similar one but from Sally Hansen but it broke unfortunately and I didn’t bother buy another since my mom already has some of this. But when I saw it I remembered I wasn’t going to live with my mom anymore and I should buy some of my own. I love this Essie one it is really good for the nails and the nail polish does stay for a few days.

El año pasado me compre uno parecido pero de Sally Hansen pero se rompió y no me moleste con comprar uno nuevo porque mi mama ya tenía de estos. Pero cuando lo vi me acorde que no voy a vivir más con mi mamá y me tenía que compra uno para mí. Me encanta este de Essie porque es muy bueno para las uñas y él esmalte se queda unos cuantos días.

The Body Shop: ALL-IN-ONE BB CREAM

I was literally dying for a BB Cream after I saw so many blogger and Youtubers saying they were amazing. I saw Zoella (Zoe Sugg) mentioning in a video saying The Body Shop was a good one, so since it was affordable I got it. I love love the way it leaves my skin when I wear it, it feels wait better than base. It gives you a tan look than looks just amazing, I got tons of compliments.

Estaba muriendo por una BB Cream después de ver tantas bloggers y Youtubers diciendo que eran buenas. Vi un video de Zoella (Zoe Sugg) que decía que esta de The Body Shop era muy buena, ya que también era barata me la compre. Amo amo como deja mi piel cuando la uso, se siente mejor que las bases. También te da un toque de color que es increíble, me dieron muchos cumplidos.

I saw this mug in Urban Outfitters and was like this is it this is my mug. I even send it to my friends and everyone said: “Yes Pili that’s your mug.” I’ve been drinking my coffee and tea in this mug and it is so cute.

Vi esta taza en Urban Outfitters y dije:                 esto es, esta es mi taza. Hasta se lo mande a mis amigos y me dijeron: “Si  Pili esa es tu taza”. Estuve tomando mi café y mi té en esta taza y es tan linda.

Beats Solo HD On-Ear Headphone (Black)

I’ve this headphones for around three years and I sometimes forget I have them. Recently I kind of remembered I have them and they are so good. I love to wear them when I work out, ride my bike, I’m typing in my laptop or watching videos. They are so comfortable and the sound is so good.

Tengo estos auriculares hace tres año aproximadamente y a veces me olvido que los tengo. Hace poco me acorde que los tenia y son tan buenos. Me encanta usarlos cuando estoy haciendo ejercicio, andando en bicicleta, usando mi computadora o cuando veo videos. Son muy cómodos y el sonido es muy bueno.

When I was in the USA I Heard this song on the radio and was like: “Hey that’s Ed Sheeran,” and being Ed Sheeran biggest fan I download the song. I love it, it’s so catchy and upbeat, I love to listen to it when I’m working out.

Cuando estaba en Estados Unidos escuche esta canción en la radio y me di cuenta que era Ed Sheeran y al ser la fan más grande de Ed Sheeran me baje la canción. Me encanta que sea tan pegadiza y upbeat. Me encanta escucharla cuando estoy haciendo ejercicio.

Girl Online: The First Novel by Zoella

I really wanted to read Zoe Sugg book as soon as she announced it. I love Zoe she is one of my favorite blogger and Youtubers, and I think the fact that she has a book out is amazing. I finished the book in three days and it was really good. I’m not usually into romance but this one was really good. I really enjoyed the storyline and loved the way it was written.

Quería leer el libro de Zoe Sugg apenas anuncio que lo iba a publicar. Me encanta Zoe, es una de mis bloggers y youtubers favoritos y creo que el hecho de que tenga un libro es increíble. Termine el libro en tres días y estuvo muy bueno. Generalmente no me gusta los libros de romance pero este me gusto. Me gustó mucho la historia y de la manera que estaba escrito.

I loved this movie. I was a Little bit scared thinking it was a scary movie but it was more of a suspense movie. To be Honest, this movie has the biggest plot twist I’ve ever seen in my life. I really enjoyed it.

Me encanta esta película. Tenía un poco de miedo de que la película sea de miedo pero era más de suspenso. Para ser honesta, esta película tiene el plot twist más grande que haya visto en mi vida.

Hello! Here is a new outfit for you! So earlier last week it was colder in Buenos Aires than it usually is during the summer time, not too cold but cold enough for jeans. So I wore this boyfriends jeans the ripped made it better for the summer time since they weren’t so warm. To be honest, I’ve always been a little bit scared of boyfriend jeans but I now love them and they are so comfortable and do not necessarily look informal. The cat shirt is also adorable and fell in love as soon as I saw it. Regarding, shoes I wore platform because I think they look better with boyfriend jeans. All in all, the look was casual and good for a day to run errands or just any casual outing.

Hola. ¡Acá hay otro outfit para ustedes! Al comienzo de la semana pasa hacia más frio en Buenos Aires de lo que suele hacer en verano, no muy fresco pero suficiente para ponerse jeans. Entonces, use estos boyfriends jeans el hecho de que estén rasgados lo hicieron mejor para el verano ya que no eran tan abrigados. Para ser honesta, siempre tuve un poco de miedo de los boyfriends jeans pero ahora me encantan, son muy cómodos y no necesariamente son informales. La remera del gato es adorable y me encanto apenas la vi. En cuanto a los zapatos, use plataformas porque creo que se ven mejor con boyfriends jeans. En conclusión, el look era casual y bueno para un día para algo casual o hacer algún tipo de mandado.
