Milan Street Style

I being MIA for a few days lately basically exam have been killing me, I have two next week. But I am posting for two days in a row to make up! I also don’t know when I’ll post again next week however it is Paris Fashion Week next week and all my favorites are there.

Estuve desaparecida por un par de días porque estuve con parciales que me están matando, tengo dos la semana que viene. Pero voy a subir dos posts dos días seguidos. No se cuando voy a subir la semana que viene aunque es Paris Fashion Week y es mi favorita.

But, I don’t know why I never pay attention to Milan because wow, Milan blew my mind. From the street style and the shows, everything was amazing. I have even been looking to take Italian class and move to Milan one day, that obsessed.

No se porque nunca le presté mucha atención a Milán porque wow, Milan fue increíble. Desde el estilo de calle hasta los shows, todo fue increíble. Hasta estuve buscando clases de italiano y algún día mudarme a Milán, si, así de obsesionada.

Blazers out

Blazers are everywhere and I think I mentioned in the last two posts about FW Street Style. Even though I’ve seen checkered blazers in NYFW and LFW looks like Milan was keeping it safe with plain ones, which I appreciate more.

Los Blazers están en todas partes y creo que los mencione en mis últimos posts de Fashion Week. Aunque en NYFW y LFW había con cuadros, Milán se enfocó en los lisos, que creo que me gustan más.

Bring out the jackets

Bombers, Jean and leather. Fall is here and we are pulling out the jackets and they are every single style. Jean jackets have been everywhere lately but not your average one, with different drawings and patches. Bombers look to be coming back and I’m so happy because I love them. And leather jackets are always in.

Bombers, jean y cuero. Llegó el otoño  y estamos sacando las camperas y son todas ellas. Las camperas de Jean están en todas partes últimamente pero no son normales sino con dibujos y parches. Bombers parece que se quedaron y estoy muy contenta porque me encanta. Y las camperas de cuero están siempre.

Always Faux fur

I noticed faux fur is everywhere in Milan Fashion Week. I love this trend as long as it's faux, I wasn’t a big fan at the beginning but now I really love it.

Me di cuenta que la piel sintética está en todas partes en Milan Fashion Week. Me encanta está tendencia, mientras sea sintetico. No era muy fan pero ahora me está empezando a gustar más

Coats go a long way

Long coats are also everywhere this season. I bought one myself in the winter and they honestly are a really nice touch to any outfit and they are so easy to style.

Los tapados largos están en todas partes esta temporada. Me compre uno este invierno y son muy lindos, quedan bien con cualquier outfit y son muy fáciles de combinar.

Overalls are not over

I’m so glad we are still using overalls. I got one recently and it is honestly my favorite thing ever. I didn’t think I could pull it, but I love it.

Me encanta que todavia estemos usando jardineros. Me compre uno y es mi prenda favorita. No pensé que me iba a quedar bien pero me encanta.

Sweater Weather

Is it really autumn if we haven’t pull out sweaters? Enough said.

This blog mixes fashion and photography. I always love 35MM cameras and always thought pictures with them are stunning. Caterina’s pictures are amazing and so is her style. I think the idea of mixing this two makes her blog really unique.

Estée is also trying to inspires us all with the healthy lifestyle, she shared her workouts and her meals. Plus, ever since I saw her dog, Reggie, I’ve been wanting a greyhound.

La voz de Estée tiene que ser escuchada en todas partes. En su blog habla de moda y belleza más que nada. Pero explora diferentes temas en su canal de youtube donde habla de DACA, BREXIT, y otros temas importantes y recurrentes. Estée también nos inspira con su estilo de vida sano, comparte sus rutinas de ejercicio y sus comidas. Además, desde que vi su perro, Reggie, ahora quiero un galgo.

I love Luanna’s blog. I love her since the second that I first found her blog. Her style is definitely my style and where I go for inspiration all the time. I love how she writes in English and Spanish to keep the audience more diverse. Plus her hair is amazing.

I’ve always been so jealous of Lucy’s video. She has a really unique eye and all her videos are so cozy and warm. Her whole aesthetic is so pleasing to me, from  her videos to her blogs she kills it. Lucy also talks about important subject like her struggle with alcohol and about feminism.

Siempre estuve muy celosa de los videos de Lucy. Tiene un ojo muy único y sus videos son siempre muy acogedores. Todo su estética es muy placentero para mi, desde su videos hasta su blog, me encanta. Lucy habla de temas importantes como su lucha con el alcohol y del feminismo.

London Fashion Week Top Shows

London proved once again it is New York’s cool mom. The looks at the runways seem to be a bit more classy with a few exceptions, like Tommy’s collection. That does not mean we hate it, quite the opposite, we love it. Apart from being classy, a recurring trend in London which I haven’t pick up in New York was the shiny clothes, from jacket to dresses, glitter everywhere. Here are my favorite picks:

Londres nos mostró una vez más que es la mamá canchera de New York. La ropa de las pasarelas era un poco más clásica, con un par de excepciones como la colección de Tommy. No significada que la odiemos, al contrario, la amamos. Además de ser clásica, una tendencia en Londres que no había visto en New York es la ropa con brillos, desde camperas hasta vestidos, habia brillos por todas partes. Acá hay un par de mis favoritos:

Ashish

Ashish looks to be a bit more on the everyday look. Things you wear on a night out or for dinner, but the catch was mixing day piece like a hoodie with night item glittery pants.

Ashish se tira más para el lado de un look de todos los días. Cosas que podes usar para salir o para ir a comer, pero lo que me atrapó acá fue la idea de mezclar ropa de día como un buzo con ropa de noche cómo los pantalones con brillos.

Ralph and Russo

I am a  big fan of this designer, the dresses are usually dreamy. This season was not an exception. Ralph and Russo stick to what I mentioned before to adding a bit of shiny to outfits. Their dresses are honestly so beautiful, I am so in love.

Soy muy fan de este diseñador, los vestidos son siempre muy lindo. Está temporada no fue la excepción. Ralph and Russo se aferró a lo que mencione antes y le agrego brillo a los outfits. Los vestidos son honestamente muy lindos, estoy enamorada.

Tommy Hilfiger

This is the third time model Gigi Hadid works with Tommy Hilfiger and I always love their clothes. They are always so casual and sporty which makes it seem comfortable. THis season kind of gave me some model Josephine Skriver vibes, (and she was in the show!) with the knee high socks and hoodies. Of course, they added some glitter to stay with the London theme.

Está es la tercera vez que la modelo Gigi Hadid trabaja con Tommy Hilfiger y siempre me encantan las colecciones. Siempre son casuales y deportivas, los cuales las hacen más cómodas. Está temporada me dio una onda a la modelo Josephine Skriver (quien estaba en el desfile) con las medias hasta la rodilla y los buzos. Obvio que agregaron billos para mantenerse a la temática de Londres.

Emilia Wickstead

This one stuck to the London perception I have of being a bit more formal and classy. This dresses are your casual dresses and ready for any occasion. To be honest, they seem so stunning to me even though they look pretty common.

Este se aferra a la idea que yo tenía de Londres sobre ser un poco formal y clásico. Los vestidos son muy casuales y listos para cualquier ocasión. La verdad es que era muy lindos para mi aunque parezca muy normales.

Topshop

I love Topshop and everything they do, whether it’s high fashion or everyday style. My favorite pieces of this collection were the coats. Long coats have been everywhere lately and looks like they will still be this season.

Me encanta todo lo que haga Topshop, si es de alta moda o para todos los días. Mis favoritos en está colección fueron los tapados. Los tapados están en todas partes últimamente y parece que todavía los vamos a ver está temporada.

Versus Versace

This collection does have a New York vibe. The plaid pattern and then women in suit

kind of vibes bring back lots of NYFW memories. I really love the silver touches some of the outfit had, especially the jacket.

Está colección me dio una onda New York. El estampado escocés y las mujeres con algo parecido a trajes, me trajo recuerdos de NYFW. Me encanta los toques plateados de los outfits, especialmente las camperas.
