Hi! I’m back and this time I promise to stay for a while (like pinky promise). Seems like spring has finally decided to show and weather is getting warmer here. I wore this outfit a while back when it was a little bit colder. I love the formal side to this one with the sweater and shirt. Adding the white converse made the look less formal, perfect for a casual day at uni and I think it would be perfect for a date at night.

I was going to post my September and October favorites today but, yesterday not only did I have a busy day but it rained like crazy. Posting them on Sunday! Can’t believe this year is almost coming to an end and it has been such a crazy one.

Estoy de vuelta y esta vez prometo quedarme un tiempo. Parece que la primavera decidió aparecer de una vez por todas y la temperatura subió un poco. Use este outfit cuando estaba más fresco. Me encanta el lado formal que tiene, perfecto para un día en la universidad o para salir a cenar a la noche.

Estaba por poner mis favoritos de septiembre y octubre pero ayer tuve un día bastante complicado y no paro de llover. Prometo subirlos el domingo. No puedo creer que el año se esté terminando, y fue uno tan loco.

What made me happy this month?

1.       Uruguay trip. The quick trip to Uruguay was what I needed. I honestly feel in love with Punta del Estes and I’m so excited to go back sometime soon

2.       Costume parties. And yes in plural my friends and I went to two costumes parties this month. I had so much planning costumes and hanging out with lots of friends as well as knowing new people.

3.       Passing my exams. I pass two of my exams, one which was a subject I had to re-take this semester. It was a big deal since last semester I failed that exam. Fingers cross I pass my next four exams and my finals!

4.       Cat. My parents decided to bring my car, Simba, here and he has officially move in with us. Everyone knows how much I love my cat and having him here brings me so much joy.

5.       Voting. We had elections once again, and the best part was not voting but finally bring an end to a political era in our country.

6.       Going to “La Nación”. We went to “La Nación”, which is a one of the most popular newspaper in Argentina. We had to do a project for journalism and they gave us a tour around the offices.

7.       American Horror Story. My friend and I started watching the show. I’ve always been scared it was going to scare me a lot, but so far the first season I was not so scare and I’m obsessed with it. I do watch during the day only. Plus, how cute is Evan Peters?

8.       Finding old music. Maybe it was the fact that I’ve been studying a lot, so I’ve been listening to more music and re discovery songs I actually miss. Usually, some old Taylor Swift and Lorde’s song.

9.       Sunset downtown. After visiting my family downtown, I caught this beautiful sunset on my way home while stuck in traffic in the car.

10.   Spring arrival. We finally have spring, al thought the weather is still odd (this is the first week without a coat), we already have flowers and there is a lot greener around.

I don’t think anyone understands my excitement when I first saw this shirt. It’s just genius and I get so many compliments. I felt like this outfit was perfect for a nice dinner with friends or something a little bit more relax than a night out. I wore it while it was in Asuncion last time, so it was way warmer than it is here in right now. It is still cold here in Buenos Aires but as soon as the weather gets warmer I’m planning on wearing it again to dinner with my family or friends.

Creo que nadie comprende mi emoción cuando vi esta remera por primera vez. Es genial y muchas personas me la han elogiado. Creo que es el outfit perfecto para salir a cenar con tus amigas o algo más tranquilo que una salida a un boliche o fiesta. La use mientras esta en Asunción, la última vez que estuve ahí, así que hacia más calor que ahora. Todavía hace frio acá en Buenos Aires pero cuando este más cálido el clima planeo usarla de vuelta para una cena con mi familia o amigas.

Paris Fashion Week Street Style

My favorite season is fashion week around the globe season. To be honest, I haven’t been checking much of the runways shows and street style expect for the occasionally Instagram. But I saw this post on Teen Vogue while on a rare Twitter catch up session with a bunch of pictures of Paris Fashion Week street style and I picked a few of my favorites. It seems like black is a theme in the post but everyone know, I love black clothes a lot. Also, I noticed a lot of sweaters and jackets, which is what I’ve been living this winter, sweaters all day and leather jackets at night. Anyways, I’ll try to update as much as possible this week but no promise for the next one since I have two exams. I hope you enjoyed the post and let me know which one was your favorite.

La temporada de Fashion Week alrededor del mundo es mi favorita. Para ser honesta, no estuve viendo mucho de los shows y los estilos de calle excepto por fotos de Instagram cada tanto. Pero vi un post de Teen Vogue en Twitter (lo cual es raro ya que no entro tanto estos días) con fotos del estilo de calle de Paris Fashion Week y elegí un par de mis favoritos. Parece que negro es un tema en este post pero todo sabemos que amo mucho la ropa negra. También, me di cuenta que hay muchos sweater y camperas, que es básicamente todo lo que use este invierno, sweaters todo el día y campera de cuero a la noche. Voy a tratar de subir la mayor cantidad posible de post esta semana pero no prometo nada para la próxima porque tengo dos exámenes. Espero que les guste el post y díganme cuál es su outfit preferido.

Uruguay Diary

So, last week my parents planned a small trip to Uruguay. Al though, I couldn’t stay as long as my family because I had an exam, I did stay four days and half in Punta Del Este, Uruguay. It was my first time over there, I had previously been in Uruguay but I went to Colonia only. I was surprise how beautiful this place was. We stayed in a hotel in Solanas which was basically in the woods, they were three story apartments, surround with lakes, trees, swimming pools, a restaurant, tennis court, among others things to do. The beach was really close by and it was so amazing, we did however go to different beaches near the more touristic side, and close to the restaurants and port. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

La semana pasada mis papas planearon un pequeño viaje a Uruguay. Aunque, no me pude quedar el mismo tiempo que mi familia, porque tenía un examen, me quede cuatro días y medio en Punta del Este, Uruguay. Era mi primera vez ahí, ya había ido a Uruguay antes pero solamente a Colonia. Me sorprendió lo lindo que era ahí. Nos quedamos en un hotel en Solanas que estaba básicamente en un bosque. Eran departamentos de tres pisos rodeados de lagos, arboles, piletas, un restaurant, cancha de tenis y muchas más cosas para hacer. La playa está muy cerca y era bastante linda, aunque, fuimos algunas playas diferentes más cerca de lado turístico y cerca de los restaurantes y el puerto. Espero que les gusten las fotos.

Trends I love: White Sneakers

Hello! I’m back, once again. So, in this period that I’ve been MIA, I went to Uruguay, took a few exams, had a One Republic concert cancel, and been out and about quiet a lot. But anyways, I’ve been loving this new trend a lot. I bought a pair of white converse and they are the only think that I’ve been wearing this past few months. The fact that they are white just make them extremely easy to pair with basically anything. What I really like about the pictures above are the ones pair with a dress, it gives them a less formal look which is amazing if you are gong for a more casual look. I feel like if you ever in doubt a pair of white sneaker is perfect to add to any outfit.
