February Photo Diary

Hello! I’ve mention in my new year’s resolution post that I wanted to take more pictures this year. SO I’ve decided to go for it and also share some of my favorite. Also, this is a basically what I’ve been up to this month, which involves, lots of delicious food-Including some from my staying in Paraguay-, lots of sunsets pictures and of course, cats –How adorable does Simba look in my arms while we were in the car?. I hope you enjoy them and let me know what you think. They were all taken with my IPhone so no fancy pictures hereJ.

¡Hola! Como dije en el post de mis resoluciones de año nuevo quería sacar más fotos este año. Entonces, decidí hacerlo y también compartir con ustedes mis favoritas. También, esto es básicamente lo que estuve haciendo este mes, lo que involucra, muchas comidas ricas (incluyendo de mi estadía en Paraguay), muchos atardeceres y por supuesto, gatos (¿No es tierno Simba en mis brazos mientras estábamos en el auto?). Espero que les gusten y digan me que piensan. Todos fueron tomadas con iPhone, asique no hay fotos fancy acáJ.

What I’ve Been Listening

Hello! Can you believe March is almost here? Since it’s almost the end of February I’ve decided to share what I’ve been listening this month. Some of them are old I kind of found them again and started listening them again. But Maroon 5 and Rihanna’s songs have been my go to when I’m trying to relax and simple ride my bike. I hope you enjoy it and listen to a few of this, high recommended ;).

¡Hola! ¿Pueden creer que ya casi es Marzo? Ya que es casi el final de Febrero decidí compartí lo que estuve escuchando este mes. Algunas son viejas, las cuales encontré de vuelta y las empecé a escuchar de nuevo. Pero las canciones de Maroon 5 y Rihanna son las que escucho cuando me quiero relajar y simplemente andar en bicicleta. Espero que les gusten y que escuchen alguna, se los recomiendo ;).

10 things that made me happy last week!

Hello! Last week has been kind of slow in preparation for next week! Back in Asuncion and seeing tons of friends. Anyways, this are the 10 things that made me happy this week.

1.       New baby cousin. Monday my family and I went to visit my new born cousin and she was so adorable.

2.       Cheesecake. I love love love cheesecake especially from Kansas in Argentina and we went there this week and my sister and I share that delicious cheesecake.

3.       Jagger, the cat. Although, he is more of my sister’s cat he’s recently spend a lot of time with me (and Dylan!) and I started to like him even more.

4.       My little brother’s birthday. He turn 14 on Saturday and we had a small celebration and went out for lunch.

5.       Colder weather. This week we had like two days of colder weather, cold enough to wear leggings! It was so nice to have rest from the usually suffocating weather!

6.       Back in Asuncion. Yesterday I travelled to Asuncion and it’s so nice to know I’m seeing my friends this week and spending a little extra time with my parents before officially moving to Buenos Aires.

7.       Spinning. I love spinning so much. It is literally the only thing I actually enjoy doing at the gym and this week I finally got back into it.

8.       Taylor Swift and Paul McCartney performing. How amazing was this performance in the SNL 40 After Party? Two of my favorites performing together!? It was nuts!

9.       Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. I’m going to be honest and say, it took me longer than usual to read this book but now I finally got more into it. And it is so good!

10.   Writing. I’ve been doing more writing and since I’ve been on writer’s block for so long getting back into my little writing bubble feels really good right now.

Hello! Another outfit for you! I really liked this one I wore a couple of days ago to my brother birthday celebration. I love this shirt, I wear it all the time and I think adding the jean shirt always makes an outfit better and keeps you warm if it gets cold. Anyways, the shorts are kind of old and I recently found them again. Hope you enjoy it!

¡Hola! Otro outfit para ustedes. Este me gusta mucho, que use hace unos días para la celebración de cumpleaños de mi hermano. Me encanta esta remera, la uso todo el tiempo y creo que agregarle una camisa de jean siempre hace un outfit mejor y te protege por si comienza hacer frio. Igualmente, los shorts son unos pocos viejo que los volví a encontrar hace poco. ¡Espero que les guste!

Hello! In a previous post I mention how much I enjoy New York Fashion Week. Not only the shows itself are amazing but the street style that are seen around are pretty amazing. So after an entire week of it I gather a few of my favorite from articles at Teen Vogue and Vogue and here there are! Poem-Sea

10 Things That Made Me Happy This Week!

Hello! Another week and another ten things that made me happy this week! This week honestly has been more chill and better than last. So here are a few things that I’ve been loving.

1.       Writing an old story. So, I went back and re read an old story of mine and decided to continue it and I really like where is heading. I’ve been really enjoying writing this story and putting a pause in my newest one.

2.       Cousins. My younger cousins came by Friday and Saturday and it was so nice to see then especially since I can’t see them often when I was living in Asuncion. It was nice to see them play with my siblings.

3.       Talking to my friend. I spent Valentine’s Day talking to my friend about what we want in life and how do we see ourselves in a few years, and although we messed around a little it was funny and I really enjoy talking to him.

4.       New desk. I finally got a new desk and I love how I’ve been decorating it. I really like buy tiny pieces to put on top and finally being able to write on the desk.

5.       Room decorations. I didn’t just buy stuff for my desk but I bought a mirror and some pictures to hang on my wall. More on this on a later post.

6.       Chinese food. I’ve been craving Chinese food for a while and I never have any in Asuncion so now that I’m in Buenos Aires and I think Buenos Aires has some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever try we order some and it was delicious.

7.       NYFW. Although the fact that I’m not there upsets me, I love seeing all the photos from the shows and seeing all the celebrities siting front row. (How good those Joe Jonas look siting front row at the Lacoste show?)

8.       Swimming. Yesterday I actually went swimming, which I hadn’t done in forever and it makes me so happy. I love swimming and I’ve been doing it since I was young. Swimming yesterday made me feel so at peace and happy.

9.       Styles music video. HOW GOOD IS THIS MUSIC VIDEO? I love it so much! I love how artsy it is. Taylor did a great job and I’m dying to hear the whole story behind it (I’m 100% sure is it’s full of metaphor, so I really want to hear what Taylor has to say).

10.   Winter clothes. I went shopping with my mom the other day and YES WINTER CLOTHES ARE FINALLY HERE. Although it is still too hot to take the jackets and boots, we already have coats and leggings in the stores and winter clothes are my favorite clothes.

Hello! I’ve been wanting new shoes for a while and I’ve been searching the whole internet to find the perfect ones and this are a few of the one I actually really like. I guess we can see trend here of cutout boots, expect for the Eleven Paris, but I’ve been wanting some for a while now. I also love wearing platform as you can see from the pictures. Anyways, what kind of shoes have you been obsessing over? Any other recommendations similar to these?

Creo que se puede ver una tendencia acá, de botas con cortes, excepto por los Elven Paris, pero hace mucho quiero unas. También me encanta usar plataforma como pueden ver en la foto. Igualmente, ¿Qué tipo de zapato les estuvieron gustando? ¿Algunas recomendaciones similares a estas?
