Autumn Leather

Dress from Rapsodia//Similar here and here
Jacket from Topshop//Similar here
Shoes from Amazon

Hello! Another outfit post! I really liked this one. I got this new boots today which I was dying to get, they are so cute. I also love leather jacket and this dress. I think this is a cute combination for the weather right now that is not cold but isn’t hot anymore. Weather is kind of crazy right now. But I think the dress is so girly and the boots and jacket give it a more edgy style, which is my favorite. Anyways, hope you have a lovely week!

¡Hola! Otro outfit post!

March Favorites

Can you believe I’m writing March favorites? This officially means March is almost over! Anyways, here are what I’ve been loving this march. I’m surprise which how much beauty stuff I have since I never have Beauty things related haha.

1.       Mac Concealer. I’ve been wanted Mac stuff for years now and I finally got my hands to this one while I was in Paraguay. This concealer is so good, for the bags under my eyes which I have more often than you would think. It was my first time trying concealer and I was really happy with the result.

2.       The Body Shop BB Cream. I think this was in my January favorites as well but I’ve been using it almost every day now to go to school, I love the color that it leaves my skin, making it look more alive and more hydrated.

3.       Essie all in one. I now this was also in my previous favorites, but I had a little incident this month where I broke one of my nails and this really help to grow it stronger and helped me fix it.

4.       Revlon by Marchesa brushes. After I bought the concealer I knew I needed some brushes to apply it, so I bought this brushes at the airport in Argentina. They are so good for the concealer and the BB Cream.

5.       Diva by Mac Lipstick. My first Mac lipstick and I can’t believe how much I love it. I love the color, I love that is Matte, I love the way it makes my lips, the shape everything about this.

6.       Teen Angst? Naaah… by Ned Vizzini. I saw this book and it reminded me of The catcher in the Rye and even though I haven’t read much (thanks school) but I really enjoy it. Is not quite as much as the Catcher but I like it.

7.       The Imitation Game. I really really enjoyed this movie when I saw it earlier this month. I was truly fascinated by everything. I love Keira Knightly and it was my first time seeing anything with Benedict Cumberbatch and I now understand why everyone loves him-

8.       VSCOcam. I love this app. I saw a blogger recommend it to edit photos and I’ve been using it so much lately. I edit most of my pictures here.

9.       Candy Pop Instax Mini Film. I really liked how my Polaroid’s turned up with this Film. I think it makes them even cuter and I really want to buy more theme related film.

10 Things that Made me Happy this Week!

Hello! I was going to post to Friday but I hated the idea that I had written in my little notebook so I kind of skipped a day. Anyways, here is another Sunday post for you:
1.       Buying my copy of The Catcher in the Rye. I finally have my own copy. How come I didn’t have a copy of my favorite book? I don’t even know.
2.       Literature class. Technically is Contenido Culturales Contemporáneos, which really is like a little bit of general culture, literature and theater. But this week I had my best real literature class and I loved it. We got to analyze Salinger’s story, The Perfect Day for Bananafish and it was such a great class.
3.       Insurgent. Al thought I didn’t quiet enjoy the movie, I had fun at the cinema and I love Ansel Elgort, Theo James and Miles Teller.
4.       Paper Towns trailer. I watched it like three times already and I almost cried the third time. This book meant so much to me and I really can’t wait for the movie.
5.       New Instagram account. I made a new Instagram to share some of the photos I take daily and I put random captions to them.
6.       Mexican food. I had Mexican food on Friday with my friends and it was amazing
7.       New book. I started reading Teen Angst? Naah… by Ned Vizzini and I’ve been really enjoying it. I haven’t read much since school is killing me but I really like it.
8.       Colder weather. Autumn is finally here. Yesterday I was wearing a hoodie and scarf and I love love cold weather so much.
9.       Buying new earrings. Ever since I cut my hair short, I’ve been obsessed with small earring so I got some new ones this Friday and they are shape so they are adorable.
10.    Snapchatting with my little sister. Lately, we’ve been using Snapchat so much with my little sister. I love to send her pictures of my cats here and she sends me of my cat back in Asuncion.

10 Things I learned Living Alone!

10 things I learned from living alone
Hello! So it’s been a little bit more than two weeks since I move to live alone in Buenos Aires. It was a really scary experience but I feel like I’m doing so much better now than I was before. So here are a few things I learned this days. I’m sure I’ll learn more as I go.
1.       Washing the dishes is not that bad. I promise it only takes 5 minutes top. Especially if it just you.
2.       You do not wash clothes so often. You might think that because back at home the washing machine was on almost every seconds, you are going to have to do so much washing,
3.       Your family will understand what you are going through. They’ll call you almost every day, they want to make sure you are ok and ask if you need anything. My family has been so supporting and have been there for me every day.
4.       It’s ok to miss and to cry. The first few days while I was getting used to, it was really hard and I missed my family so much. But I’m doing so much better now, plus college keeps me so busy I barely have time to miss.
5.       You have your own time. Do you want to have dinner at 7? At 11? You can. You don’t have to wait for anyone, so you have that freedom as well.
6.       Your friends are important. Friends would keep you company and make you feel like home a little.
7.       It’s ok to eat alone. I use to hate the idea of eating alone, but I learn to embrace it. Even though it is not the best thing in the world it is also not the worst. Taking some time for yourself and maybe read a book while you eat is ok.
8.       Always take a little bit of extra money. Weather you need to get a cab or need to eat something, it’s always important to carry money with you.
9.       You will learn a lot. You will learn to be alone, and to do a lot of things that you actually never thought were truly necessary.
10.   You grow closer to your family. You know what they say: absence makes the heart fonder!

Welcome to New York

Shirt- Abercrombie
Leggings-Forever 21
Boots-Dr Martens
Necklace-Forever 21

Hello! Another outfit this week. I’m obviously not wearing this right now since it’s like 30 degrees here every day. But I honestly can’t wait for colder weather so I can wear leggings and boots. I love winter clothes so I’m so excited for this winter! This is something I will probably wear to college when it gets colder with maybe a jean shirt or a sweater. Anyways, I hope you like this outfit. Let me know!

¡Hola!

1.       First week of university. It has been so excited to start this new chapter and I’ve been having so much fun.
2.       The Perfect Day for Banana fish by J.D. Salinger. I got this week assign to me for University and as soon as they said this I knew I had picked the right career. We all know I love Salinger.
3.       Having friends over for dinner. I had some friends over on Friday for dinner and it we had so much fun, just catching up and enjoying each other company.
4.       Meeting new people. I met some many new people in school and they are all really lovely.
5.       Bea Miller album track list. If you follow Bea on twitter, you know that she has been releasing the name of her songs for her new album and its making me so excited for her new album.
6.       Paper Towns poster. This is so freacking exciting. I seriously can’t wait for the movie and the trailer next week!
7.       FaceTime with Simba, my cat. I miss him so much and my sister put him on the screen while we were doing FaceTime.
8.       Cooking. This is really shocking for all of us. I cooked a little bit this week (nothing big) but I actually quiet enjoy doing so.
9.       Skype with friends. My friends and I had been talking a lot on skype this past week I’ve been away and it has been really great to keep in touch with them.
10.   Spending time with my other cats. Being away from home all day in university my cats basically throw themselves at me when they see me walking through the door.

What’s in my College Bag?

Hello! I hope everyone had a lovely week and a great weekend! So all of this week posts have been related to college and this one is no different. Here are all the things I take in my college bag.

1.       Bag from Urban Outfitters. My bag is from Urban Outfitters which I had shown you before and is the perfect size to fit everything you need even the notebooks.
2.       Agenda. To remember all the homework and exams you might have. Mine was a gift and I don’t know where it is from but I’m sure you can find and agenda anywhere.
3.       Notebooks. I use a different for each class not to get mix up. I saw some really cute notebooks in Staples and Amazon. Mines are from here in Argentina, if you are from Argentina I’m sure you can buy them anywhere.
4.       Pencil case from Amazon. I don’t like taking too much stuff so I take this small pencil case which is enough to carry pens, and highlighters. I really like the design of this one, it was so cheap in amazon and you get four pencil case.
5.       Wallet from Forever 21.  A wallet of course, because you might need some money if you stay all day in school like me.
6.       Phone charger. Always take you charger everywhere you. Important life lesson I learn.
7.       Sunglasses from ray-ban. You never know.
8.       Glasses. If you are like me and can’t see, highly recommend special when you are in big classroom and you have to take a sit in the back.
9.       Make up bag form Victoria Secret. I don’t carry make up in here but I do carry lip-balm, tissue, and essentials for the day.
10.   A book. You never know if you suddenly have to wait around for someone so to kill time bring a book. Currently reading The Odyssey by Homero.
11.   A water bottle. Because all those hours listening your brain needs a little hydrations.
12.   iPad (not in the picture) or any other tablet. Because sometimes teachers send you pdf files or your reading for the next class is online and if you have time to kill why not work on that?

5 Things I Learn the First Few Days of College

Hello! So I started college this Monday and to be honest it was less scary than I thought it was going to be. I thought I could giving some tips I learn the first week. I’m not expert about this since really is my first week, but maybe for your first few days.
1.       You are not alone. Even if you are in a big school and none of your friends are there with you, many, many people are just like you. I found a lot of girls who didn’t have any friends and told them to join my group of friends.
2.       Professors understand. They know this is a new phase for you, it can be hard and complicate. They won’t pressure you and they know you might not understand. They are also really willing to understand.
3.       You WILL get homework the first day. At least I did. But don’t worry take your time and DON’T LEAVE ANYTHING FOR LAST MINUTE.
4.       Always accept car drives and always give car drives when you can.
5.       To people who study the same as you and it the same college. They are really willing to talk to you and share their knowledge.
Kind of short but once I am more used to college I’ll share more I promise.

Let me know what you think

10 Things that Made me Happy this Week!

Hello! It has been a long and stressful week and I’m glad it has come to an end to be honest. I’m really excited for next week since tomorrow I start University. Anyway, here is what made me happy even through the stress.
1.       College Orientation. We went to the university to be introduced to it and to learn more about it. It was really exciting to know the place, teachers and future classmates.
2.       Hanging out with old friends. A bunch of friends from my old school are also studying communications with me! Which is nice to know I’m not alone there. It was also nice to catch up with them
3.       New friends. I made some new friends when we had the college orientation, which I thought it was going to be harder.
4.       Dinner with dad and my siblings. My dad came to visit us and we went out for a really nice dinner. It was nice to have our dad over.
5.       Downtown alone. Like I mentioned before I went downtown on my own earlier this week. I’ve never done that and it was really good to do things on my own which I do need to get more use to.
6.       Reactions to my Moving to BuenosAires post. I got a text from an old friend telling me how much she liked my post from Thursday. Then, I got a text from my mom about it. It’s really nice for me to know that I had a great impact on the people around me, based on what I write.
7.       The Imitation Game. My friends and I went to see this movie with Benedict Cumberbatch and it was amazing. This movie is genius, I loved every second of it. Highly recommended.
8.       Volunteer offer. I got an email from someone asking me if I was interesting in volunteer program, which I am! I really hope I can join and do some volunteer work.
9.       Massage. Yes another massage. I got a relaxation massage on Monday and it was so relaxing and nice.
10.   Seeing Salinger’s books. While I was downtown I enter a few book store and it made me so happy to find a lot of books by J.D. Salinger, it’s so important that people are reading them and knowing about him because they are just amazing.
Hope you had a lovely week!

Instax Mini 8 and my favorite Polaroids

Fuji Instax Mini-Candy Pop Film

Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 Instant Film Camera (Pink)

Hello! I’ve been thinking about this post for quite some time and finally I decided to do it today! So I got this camera a few months ago and I’ve been obsessed with it. I love how pictures turn out and I really love physically having the pictures instead of in my phone. It is also amazing the fact that it’s so small and I can carry it everywhere, I took to all of my recent trips and was really happy with how the pictures turn out. What I also love is that you can buy some of the papers with little decorations like the one with the dots. Even if you are not a fan of photography, I do recommend this camera. I honestly can’t believe how good it turn out to be, I was scare that I was not going to like the quality, or the size of the pictures but I do like them. Lastly, I love the way they are hang in my bedroom. It used to be a mirror that broken so now I use it to hang my pictures haha. But I think it looks amazing there!

Moving to Buenos Aires

I officially moved to Buenos Aires this week, and being honest I thought it was going to be easier.  From the moment I hugged my siblings’ goodbye, Tuesday morning before they go to school I was heartbroken. It was difficult letting go of my siblings, who I have lived for 14 and 10 years knowing that I won’t see them until the end of the month. Then I said goodbye to my best friends, who I couldn’t be happier they were also doing what they love and achieving so much. We have been in each other life for three and half years and we saw each other go through so much, grow up and we will eventually watch all of us become professionals, each doing what they love. Then, I hugged my mom goodbye. As I was walking through security at the airport and waving goodbye to my mother I remember the kind stranger telling me “it’s going to be ok, don’t cry young girl.” But the words I’m hanging on the most are my mother saying “You are doing what you love.” And that’s what it keeps me going and not turning back. That I’m following what I want.

Yesterday, I went downtown on my own for the first time. It was scary. But I kept going because I know that if I ever wanted to achieve one of my biggest dreams of moving to New York, it meant that this was nothing. I knew that if I really wanted to work as a journalist one day, I had to move to Buenos Aires and study.

Lastly, something really metaphoric to me was that the first thing I saw when I got to Buenos Aires was a whole bunch of rye. I’ve mention before that my favorite book is The Catcher in the Rye that talks about growing up. So it seem to me funny, that I saw rye in the place where I was going to grow up and become an adult.

My last advice is, we spent our whole life wanting to grow or to move away from our parents, but do appreciate your time with them. Tell them you love them, hug them daily, spend time with them and never ever take them for granted.

Hello! Another outfit I enjoyed wearing! I love the sporty yet chic vibe this one had. I wore it to the mall with a friend and I thought it was really comfortable and simple.  I showed this short in my previous outfit, and I’m loving how comfortable they are .The picture is not so good, because I did this in a rush and had to continue packing for going back home. Hope you enjoy it.

¡Hola!
