Paris Fashion Week Street Style

How do I begin to explain Paris? Paris is everything from fashion, to food, to tourist attraction, it has it all. I fell in love with Paris the second I stepped foot there, so are you shock that I always look forward to Paris Fashion Week? I feel like Paris is the last week and saves all the best designers for last: Ellie Saab, Valentino, Stella McCartney. I know I said similar stuff about Milan but Paris FW is my ultimate favorite, mainly because Paris is my favorite city. So, apart from the different designer Paris always have amazing street style picking after the fun and eccentric city.

¿Cómo empiezo a explicar Paris? Paris es todo, desde moda, hasta comida y atracción turísticas, tiene todo. Me enamoré de Paris el segundo que pise la ciudad, ¿Entonces estas asombrado que siempre estoy esperando Paris Fashion Week? Siento que Paris es la última semana y guarda los mejores diseñadores para el final: Ellie Saab, Valentino, Stella McCartney. Ya sé que dije cosas parecidas sobre Milán, pero Paris FW es mi favorita, más que nada porque Paris es mi ciudad favorita. Además, de increíbles diseñadores Paris también tiene estilo de la calle que se inspiró en lo divertido y excéntrico que tiene la ciudad.

In Paris we wear Pink

 From an all pink outfit to some softer pink, Paris was painted with this color. Pink has been all around this season and Paris didn’t stay behind. Pink is such an easy color to match, and I feel like we can all put it off, but remember to wear pink on Wednesday (today).

Desde outfits todos rosas hasta un rosa más claro, Paris se pintó de este color. El rosa estuvo en todas partes esta temporada y Paris no se quedó atrás. Es un color tan fácil de combinar y siento que cualquiera lo puede usar, pero acordarte que los miércoles (hoy) usamos rosa.

More than red dresses

 

Red. Red is such a strong and passionate color. So, are we shock all this lady could pull it out? Just like pink, red is everywhere, you can use it in your coats or pants.

Rojo. El rojo es un color fuerte y apasionado. ¿Estamos sorprendiendo que estas chicas lo pudieron usar sin problema? Como el rosa, el rojo está en todas partes, podes usarlo en un tapado o en pantalones.

You know is fall, when leather jackets are around

Oh, I live for the leather jackets season. They can add a badass look or formal look to any plain outfit, they are perfect for anything. Plus, they go with anything, from dresses to sweatpants.

Ay, como amo la temporada de camperas de cuero. Pueden agregarle tanto a un outfit normal, le da un estilo canchero, formal, son perfectas para cualquier cosa. Además, que combinan con todo desde vestidos hasta jogging.

More blazers and more blazers

Blazers are a constant in this fashion month. They are a nice way to add formality to any outfit, and easy to match. Blazers seem to be moving on from the plain black ones and becoming more of a statement piece, from different colors to checkered ones.

Los blazers son algo constante este mes de la moda. Son muy lindos y agregan algo formal a cualquier outfit, y son fáciles de combinar. Los blazers parecen que están superando el negro liso y están siendo más una pieza ideal, desde colores diferentes hasta con cuadrados.

Chill like a Parisian morning

Tip: if you ever go to Paris, wake up early and go for a walk. The city is so relaxing and beautiful in the morning, just like this outfits. The laid-back trend has been all around lately, from oversize hoodies, to leggings we are done with fashion being uncomfortable now we want comfort.

Recomendación: si van a Paris, despiértense temprano y vayan a caminar. La ciudad es muy relajada y linda a la mañana, como estos outfits. La tendencia relajada está en todas partes últimamente, desde buzos oversize, hasta calzas, dejamos la moda incomoda y ahora buscamos la comodidad.

Flowy dresses for the wind by the Seine

Dresses are always around. I don’t know if this is really a trend or just a regular look everywhere. However, I think here we are stick to the previous trend of just being comfortable. What says comfortable but formal more than a flowy dress?

Los vestidos están siempre. No sé si esto es una tendencia, pero un estilo que está siempre. Igualmente, creo que nos estamos enfocando un poco en la tendencia anterior de estar cómodas. ¿Qué es más cómodo que un vestido suelto?

Coats all the way to your feet

We saw this already in Milan, London and New York, just like blazers coats are everywhere. Just like blazers we are going out there and wearing them in different colors: purple, blue, brown. It is a perfect touch to any outfit and a great way to keep yourself warm.

Vimos esto en Milán, Londres, y New York, como los blazers, los tapados están en todas partes. Como los blazers están de moda de todos los colores, violeta, azul, marrón. Es el perfecto toque para cualquier outfit y una manera increíble para cubrirnos del frío.

Milan Street Style

I being MIA for a few days lately basically exam have been killing me, I have two next week. But I am posting for two days in a row to make up! I also don’t know when I’ll post again next week however it is Paris Fashion Week next week and all my favorites are there.

Estuve desaparecida por un par de días porque estuve con parciales que me están matando, tengo dos la semana que viene. Pero voy a subir dos posts dos días seguidos. No se cuando voy a subir la semana que viene aunque es Paris Fashion Week y es mi favorita.

But, I don’t know why I never pay attention to Milan because wow, Milan blew my mind. From the street style and the shows, everything was amazing. I have even been looking to take Italian class and move to Milan one day, that obsessed.

No se porque nunca le presté mucha atención a Milán porque wow, Milan fue increíble. Desde el estilo de calle hasta los shows, todo fue increíble. Hasta estuve buscando clases de italiano y algún día mudarme a Milán, si, así de obsesionada.

Blazers out

Blazers are everywhere and I think I mentioned in the last two posts about FW Street Style. Even though I’ve seen checkered blazers in NYFW and LFW looks like Milan was keeping it safe with plain ones, which I appreciate more.

Los Blazers están en todas partes y creo que los mencione en mis últimos posts de Fashion Week. Aunque en NYFW y LFW había con cuadros, Milán se enfocó en los lisos, que creo que me gustan más.

Bring out the jackets

Bombers, Jean and leather. Fall is here and we are pulling out the jackets and they are every single style. Jean jackets have been everywhere lately but not your average one, with different drawings and patches. Bombers look to be coming back and I’m so happy because I love them. And leather jackets are always in.

Bombers, jean y cuero. Llegó el otoño  y estamos sacando las camperas y son todas ellas. Las camperas de Jean están en todas partes últimamente pero no son normales sino con dibujos y parches. Bombers parece que se quedaron y estoy muy contenta porque me encanta. Y las camperas de cuero están siempre.

Always Faux fur

I noticed faux fur is everywhere in Milan Fashion Week. I love this trend as long as it's faux, I wasn’t a big fan at the beginning but now I really love it.

Me di cuenta que la piel sintética está en todas partes en Milan Fashion Week. Me encanta está tendencia, mientras sea sintetico. No era muy fan pero ahora me está empezando a gustar más

Coats go a long way

Long coats are also everywhere this season. I bought one myself in the winter and they honestly are a really nice touch to any outfit and they are so easy to style.

Los tapados largos están en todas partes esta temporada. Me compre uno este invierno y son muy lindos, quedan bien con cualquier outfit y son muy fáciles de combinar.

Overalls are not over

I’m so glad we are still using overalls. I got one recently and it is honestly my favorite thing ever. I didn’t think I could pull it, but I love it.

Me encanta que todavia estemos usando jardineros. Me compre uno y es mi prenda favorita. No pensé que me iba a quedar bien pero me encanta.

Sweater Weather

Is it really autumn if we haven’t pull out sweaters? Enough said.

London Fashion Week Street Style

We are still standing strong with Fashion Month and this week it was London’s turn to show us what they got. I feel like London’s style is a bit more classy, it is like New York really stylish mother. But who doesn’t love a classy and formal look every now and then? If this is your case here are a few ideas you can pick from London Fashion Week:

Todavía estamos fuertemente parados en el mes de la moda y está semana le toca a Londres para mostrarnos que tiene para nosotros. Always trust denim

Denim is always around, no matter what town, no matter what time of the year, you can always trust denim. Denim can be too plain for some, so I always try to pair is with something extra like a nice jacket or some patterns.

El jean siempre está cerca, no importa qué ciudad, no importa en qué época del año, siempre podes confiar en el jean. Aveces la ropa de jean puede ser simple, siempre trato de agregar algo más cómo una campera o algún estampado.

We are borrowing dresses

Colors are everywhere this season from red to violet. We are moving on from the normal plain colors for fall and stepping on a colorful trend, we are bringing spring into fall. But apparently colors are not the only trend we are borrowing from spring, dresses are too!

Los colores están en todas partes esta temporada, de rojo a violeta. Estamos pasando los colores normales y aburridos y nos paramos en una tendencia más colorida, trajimos la primavera al otoño. Pero parece que los colores no son lo único que traemos al otoño, los vestidos también.

One color many shades

Since colors are a big trend this season, why not using one for the whole outfit? Let's skip the part where we question who matches who and just do the whole outfit one color! And let's even go as far as adding different shade of the color. Seems like a good go to trend for days where we are too lazy to match.

Ya que los colores son una gran tendencia esta temporada, ¿por qué no usar todo un outfit con uno de ellos? Saltemos cuestionarnos quién combina con quien, y hagamos todo el outfit de un solo color. Y vayamos más lejos y combinemos diferentes tonos. Parece que una buena tendencia para cuando no tenemos muchas ganas de combinar.

Top Trends from NYFW

It’s that time of the year again, yes, fashion month. Like any other fashion fan, my eyes are glue to Vogue and every single model and It girl Instagram story. We are already done with our first big Fashion Week which is New York. New York has always been my favorite one because it brings all the quirky side of the city to fashion, nobody here is a shame to wear anything. Even though I love watching the shows, I also love the street style. I am a big sucker for street style in general but New York Fashion Week always makes sure to go over the top. Here are a few trends I’ve noticed:

Es esa época del año otra vez, si, el mes de la moda. Cómo toda fan de la moda, mis ojos están pegados a Vogue y a todos los Instastory de las  modelos e It girls. Ya terminamos con la primera gran semana de la moda que es en New York. New York siempre va a ser mi favorita, porque trae todo eso que tiene de bizarro la ciudad y lo pone en la moda, nadie acá tiene miedo de usar cualquier cosa. Aunque me encanta ver los shows, tambien me encanta el estilo de la calle. Soy muy fan de cualquier estilo de calle en general, pero New York Fashion Week siempre se asegura de ir más allá. Acá hay un par de tendencias que note:

Red, you are up

Red has been such a big color this season and it seems like we are starting autumn (spring for me) with this color. What I love about this look is how red can add a touch of color to any plain outfit making it more fun plus it looks good with basically anything!

El color rojo ha sido una gran color esta temporada y parece que empezamos el otoño con este color (primavera para mí). Lo que me encanta del rojo es que le puede dar un toque de color a cualquier outfit, haciéndolos más divertidos y básicamente queda bien con todo.

Pink is for everyone

I’ve been such a lover of this trend, feels like I am back when I was 6 years old and everything I owned was pink. Growing up I was never much of a pink lover but now that I am past the teenage years and thinking “pink is for little girls” I love pink. Pink has that same vibe as the red color where you can match with anything and it adds so much fun to any outfits. I also love how we are not shy about using it everywhere, pants, shirts or an all pink outfit!

Está tendencia me encanto, siento que tengo de vuelta 6 años y todo lo que tengo es rosa. Al crecer nunca me gusto el rosa pero ahora que pasaron esos años de la adolescencia donde pensas “el rosa es para nenas chiquitas”, me encanta. El rosa tiene la misma onda que el rojo que lo podes combinar con cualquier cosas y le agrega algo divertido a los outfits. Me encanta cómo no somos tímidos con el color y lo implementamos en todos lados: pantalón, remeras, o todo rosa.

Always trust the black

Aw yes, I love a good all black outfit. I probably wear all black 6 out of 7 days a week. However, I love how all this ladies still add a pop of white with the shoes, the best way to add a touch of something to an all black outfit. Also, that jumpsuit? Amazing.

Aww si, me encanta un outfit todo negro. Creo que uso todo negro 6 de los 7 días de la semana. Igualmente, me encanta cómo estas chicas le agregaron un toque de color con los zapatos blancos, la mejor manera para romper un poco con todo negro. Además, ¿Ese enterizo? Increíble.

All the blazers out

I’ve been noticing blazers are pretty big this fall season. I’ve seen so many bloggers wearing them and nobody is shy about it! Whether they are colorful or plaid or a simple black one, everyone is wearing one.

Me estoy dando cuenta que lo blazers están muy a la moda esta temporada de otoño. Veo muchas bloggers usandolos y nadie es tímido al respecto. Si son coloridos, con cuadros o negros, todas los usan.

Flowers are blooming in Autumn

Floral dress are around every spring, but fashion icons are bringing them this autumn as well. I’ve always been a fan but never in autumn, autumn feels like more chunky sweaters and leggings. However, I am ready to get my hands of this dresses this next fall.

Los vestidos con flores están en todas partes en la primavera, pero los iconos de la moda los trajeron para el otoño también. Siempre fui muy fan, pero no en otoño, otoño es más para sweaters y calzas. Igualmente, estoy lista para agregar un par este otoño.

Victoria's Secret Casting Style

Victoria Secret fashion show is right around the corner and casting has begun and ended. But the casting has left us other than the anticipation to see who is in and who isn’t (rooting for you Hailey), we also have the amazing street style. The future VS models have rock their styles to the audition and we were all here to see what they were wearing.  I did some lurking and I found which ones were my favorite dress:

Victoria Secret fashion Show está muy cerca y casting empezó y terminó. Pero lo que nos dejaron las audiciones además de ansias para ver quien quedó y quien no (cruzo los dedos por Hailey), también tenemos el street style. Las futuras modelos de VS mostraron sus diferentes estilos para las audiciones y estábamos todos mirando que usaban. Estuve buscando un poco y aca encontre algunas de mis favoritas.

Paris Fashion Week Street Style

My favorite season is fashion week around the globe season. To be honest, I haven’t been checking much of the runways shows and street style expect for the occasionally Instagram. But I saw this post on Teen Vogue while on a rare Twitter catch up session with a bunch of pictures of Paris Fashion Week street style and I picked a few of my favorites. It seems like black is a theme in the post but everyone know, I love black clothes a lot. Also, I noticed a lot of sweaters and jackets, which is what I’ve been living this winter, sweaters all day and leather jackets at night. Anyways, I’ll try to update as much as possible this week but no promise for the next one since I have two exams. I hope you enjoyed the post and let me know which one was your favorite.

La temporada de Fashion Week alrededor del mundo es mi favorita. Para ser honesta, no estuve viendo mucho de los shows y los estilos de calle excepto por fotos de Instagram cada tanto. Pero vi un post de Teen Vogue en Twitter (lo cual es raro ya que no entro tanto estos días) con fotos del estilo de calle de Paris Fashion Week y elegí un par de mis favoritos. Parece que negro es un tema en este post pero todo sabemos que amo mucho la ropa negra. También, me di cuenta que hay muchos sweater y camperas, que es básicamente todo lo que use este invierno, sweaters todo el día y campera de cuero a la noche. Voy a tratar de subir la mayor cantidad posible de post esta semana pero no prometo nada para la próxima porque tengo dos exámenes. Espero que les guste el post y díganme cuál es su outfit preferido.
