Trends I love: White Sneakers

Hello! I’m back, once again. So, in this period that I’ve been MIA, I went to Uruguay, took a few exams, had a One Republic concert cancel, and been out and about quiet a lot. But anyways, I’ve been loving this new trend a lot. I bought a pair of white converse and they are the only think that I’ve been wearing this past few months. The fact that they are white just make them extremely easy to pair with basically anything. What I really like about the pictures above are the ones pair with a dress, it gives them a less formal look which is amazing if you are gong for a more casual look. I feel like if you ever in doubt a pair of white sneaker is perfect to add to any outfit.
What do you think of white sneakers? Love them or hate them?

Trend I love: Pastel hair

Hello! Another trend I’ve been loving lately but I’m too scared to actually do it. This ladies look so pretty with this pastel hair look. i think my favorite ones are the one that look kind of grey. To be honest, I really wanted to post an outfit picture today but the weather sucks so I have horrible light in my room and to top the light in my room sucks. I’ll try to take some while I’m in Asuncion but I don’t really know how the weather would be there. And as you are reading this I'm probably on the road to Asuncion. So. Excited.
What do you think of pastel hair? Would you ever get it done? Let me know!

10 Things That Made Me Happy This Week!

Hello! Another week and another ten things that made me happy this week! This week honestly has been more chill and better than last. So here are a few things that I’ve been loving.
1.       Writing an old story. So, I went back and re read an old story of mine and decided to continue it and I really like where is heading. I’ve been really enjoying writing this story and putting a pause in my newest one.
2.       Cousins. My younger cousins came by Friday and Saturday and it was so nice to see then especially since I can’t see them often when I was living in Asuncion. It was nice to see them play with my siblings.
3.       Talking to my friend. I spent Valentine’s Day talking to my friend about what we want in life and how do we see ourselves in a few years, and although we messed around a little it was funny and I really enjoy talking to him.
4.       New desk. I finally got a new desk and I love how I’ve been decorating it. I really like buy tiny pieces to put on top and finally being able to write on the desk.
5.       Room decorations. I didn’t just buy stuff for my desk but I bought a mirror and some pictures to hang on my wall. More on this on a later post.
6.       Chinese food. I’ve been craving Chinese food for a while and I never have any in Asuncion so now that I’m in Buenos Aires and I think Buenos Aires has some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever try we order some and it was delicious.
7.       NYFW. Although the fact that I’m not there upsets me, I love seeing all the photos from the shows and seeing all the celebrities siting front row. (How good those Joe Jonas look siting front row at the Lacoste show?)
8.       Swimming. Yesterday I actually went swimming, which I hadn’t done in forever and it makes me so happy. I love swimming and I’ve been doing it since I was young. Swimming yesterday made me feel so at peace and happy.
9.       Styles music video. HOW GOOD IS THIS MUSIC VIDEO? I love it so much! I love how artsy it is. Taylor did a great job and I’m dying to hear the whole story behind it (I’m 100% sure is it’s full of metaphor, so I really want to hear what Taylor has to say).
10.   Winter clothes. I went shopping with my mom the other day and YES WINTER CLOTHES ARE FINALLY HERE. Although it is still too hot to take the jackets and boots, we already have coats and leggings in the stores and winter clothes are my favorite clothes.
What have you been loving this week?

And the Haters gonna Hate Hate Hate

Hi, today I’ve wanted to discuss something that I feel like a lot of people can relate. I’ve been writing since I was twelve/Thirteen years old, and now at eighteen almost nineteen I have encounter people who have told me it was stupid, childish, and useless.
When I was fourteen a guy came up to me and say: “Do you really write?” and that made me stop writing for a few years. I started again when I was seventeen. Those three years I have realized there was something missing. I was not my full self, because I quite writing because of what some silly fourteen year old had said to me.
However, at eighteen now, I still have people making fun of my writing. But I have decide that this time, I won’t let them bring me down. I will not stop because of what some people might say about what I write about. I don’t care anymore who reads or who doesn’t. I don’t care if I have people talking about this post. I don’t care if someone decides that my writing is stupid. I don’t care because I have realized that I write for myself. I write because it is who I am. I don’t want to go back to that sixteen year old who was not even half of the person I was supposed to be. I have come to the conclusion that weather I write or not, there will be hate, there will be people stabbing me on the back. If I write there will be people who read this and  others who do not, people who support me 100% and people who would not, no matter what. It does not matter what I do, there would be haters and there would be lovers no matter what I do.

My blog is called “Records of my troubles”, and this is me recording my life, keeping track of my feelings. Because like Salinger say, I’m not the only who feels this way, and many people would feel this way so I might as well help them understand this feelings and re assure they are not alone. So, no I’m not a massive blogger, or a huge author, but right now, I don’t care, as long as I write, I do what I love,  I am who I am, and I’m happy, I’m ok with where me and my blog stands. If you are bitter with your life and you hate what you do, then I’m sorry, but don’t bring someone who is happy doing what they are doing down, and respect everyone’s passion.
One day, my writing and passion would take me somewhere, because all those haters are gonna hate hate hate, and those who believe in me are going to be standing by me and supporting me.
Thank you for reading,
Love,
Pili
Ps: my favorite author was denied by many publishers, my favorite musicians were dropped and denied by record labels, everyone has haters when they start ;)

Ps2: I’m going back to my happy and cheerful blogging on Friday. I apologize for this post, I just needed to get this off my chest :).

Poetry

HI! It has been more than a week since I last posted! I apologize, I actually have 3 good reasons why, first one being I started school again, so that has got me everywhere except with writing time! The second one is a nice friend of mine call IB, yep the International Baccalaureate, my friends. In case you don’t know it’s like AP subjects, maybe even harder and longer. So I’m starting all my IB projects, running around teachers and giving them ideas. The third and last is my Microsoft Word wasn't working and I like writing there before posting. Anyways, I promised I tried to post more and this blog might help me in my CAS class (more IB stuff) so I’ll post more often.

Enough of this, today I’m going to share one of my latest poem. I actually really liked this one, and I think you can interpret it however you want it. It is different from what I normally write because it is not based on anything personal.

Bare
You stand there bare
Giving me everything
Helping me through everything
And I can’t think straight

You stand there bare
The taxi cabs and the snow
The city moving fast
And I stare at you slowly

You stand there as your laugh echoes
You have that winning smile
Your head through back
And I listen to your laugh smiling

I stand there bare
I stand there looking out
I stand there as my laugh echoes
You can’t think straight, but you listen and stare

I hope you enjoy it, I would love some feedback and may I’ll post more poems!
Love,
Pili
