Current Shoes Obsession!

Hello! I’ve been wanting new shoes for a while and I’ve been searching the whole internet to find the perfect ones and this are a few of the one I actually really like. I guess we can see trend here of cutout boots, expect for the Eleven Paris, but I’ve been wanting some for a while now. I also love wearing platform as you can see from the pictures. Anyways, what kind of shoes have you been obsessing over? Any other recommendations similar to these?

¡Hola!

Outfit of the Week

Skirt- Cuesta Blanca/Similar here and here
Shoes- Daniel Cassin/Similar here and here
Necklace- Forever 21

Hello! Another week another outfit of the week! I don’t usually post summer outfits because if we are being honest I don’t really know how to dress during the summer, I prefer dressing during the winter. This one is really simple and what I wore to run a few errands. It will be also good for maybe when it’s a little bit colder, maybe autumn or spring, to wear with tights underneath, boots and maybe a jacket. Anyways, hope you are having a great week!

¡Hola!
Love,
Pili

10 things that made me happy last week

Hi guys! To keep up the positivity on the blog I wanted to share more of what made me happy this week.
1.       College interview. Like I mentioned previously I had my college interview which it officially means I’m in!
2.       My other cat Simba. Simba went missing for a an entire day and we were extremely worried but once he appeared again it light up my whole day and now having him around just makes me happy.
3.       Stay away from social networks. So around Wednesday I decided to stay away from all social networks, Snapchat, twitter, Facebook and Instagram and only checking in the morning and night. I highly recommend you do it for at least three days, you will seriously change how often you check it.
4.       New leggings. This might some random but I love buying new clothes especial winter ones since I hadn’t have a real winter in 3 years! So buying this leggings which are going to be useful this winter really made me happy.
5.       Grammys! Yesterday they were the Grammy and I loved them. I love Rihanna’s, Paul McCartney and Kanye West new song so watching the performances was amazing as well as Ed Sheeran performing!
6.       Switched at Birth. I started this show this week and I’m hook! I love the storyline.
7.       Le Pain Quotidian. I love this place, my mom and I always trying going whenever we go downtown and it is amazing!
8.       Organized closet! I finally got down to organizing my closet so I moved some things around and now I have more space, I’m still waiting for my desk to finally have a decent room.
9.       FourFiveSeconds by Rihanna, Paul McCartney and Kanye West. I feel in love with this song and I listening whenever I’m riding my bike.
10.   Lovely comments from readers! Nothing makes me happier than reading that so many people are enjoying my blog. I know 5-6 comments might not seem much for some blogs but to me, makes me feel like I’m doing this right.

Outfit Of The Week

Shirt-American Eagle (no longer available)/ similar here and here
Pants-Forever 21
Shoes-Converse (they are not available in the website) /Similar Here

Another outfit! Little story behind this outfit. I had my college interview this week and put this Jean shirt and tight high wasted pants for a more formal look. I actually saw a similar look on Zoe Levin in Her TV show RedBand Society, who she plays Kara (The show is amazing, I highly recommend it :)). Anyways you know about my obsession for this tote and how comfortable it is. Hope you like it!

Otro outfit!

To All the Seniors Out There

Hi! I wanted to share a few words with those who are seniors or will be seniors this years. I finish high school two months ago and this are some thoughts that have been on my mind ever since.
Seniors,
Please appreciate those little moments in school. Appreciate watching your friends laugh after you told me them about your weekend. Appreciate your spot in the school patio where you all sat and talk every single recess. Appreciate your friend stealing your food and laughing in your face. Appreciate the walk to class where you ran into someone and talk for a second. Appreciate those books and the analysis from that brilliant teacher. Appreciate the sitting in the back of the class trying to keep your eyes open but failing miserably. Appreciate the way your class burst out laughing when someone made a hilarious joke. Appreciate the way your mom or dad made you lunch for the next and how they drove you to school. Just, appreciate your last day of high school.
After two months, I keep telling myself, “Pili, why the heck did you spend your last year saying “When is this over?” or something among those lines?” I did not appreciate being a senior. I complained for months and told myself “This will finally be over” but forgot to appreciate being close with my friends, waking up every morning and seeing them by the tree discussing random things, or laughing when you saw your friend arriving too early. I feel like I should have appreciate high school a little bit more. Because yes, college is terrifying. You’ll learn to do things you didn’t even know you had to do, cooking, cleaning and yes, getting lost. I remember everyone telling me I’ll miss high school, but I don’t miss it. I don’t miss having a teacher yelled at me because I want to enjoy my frozen yogurt, or a teacher yelling at me for whispering to my friends. I do however wish I had appreciate those moments I’ve mention before. The good moments.
I don’t think I’ll ever miss high school. I think I’ll miss more being a child and having people help me out and not doing grown up things. Or being with my friend’s every day for 8 hours. I just wish I had appreciate those small moments more.
This kind of sounds messy but that is my head at the moment. And I hope seniors or even juniors can understand where I’m coming.
This is something uncommon for me, I don’t usually express my mind like this nor do I ever feel like this about school. (I hated school) but lately I just been missing my friends and this is my way of saying I miss them.

10 Things That Made Me Happy This Week

Hello! For today’s blog I thought I should try something different. I like this idea of keeping record of things that made me happy in a week to be able to go back and smile at the memories, a nice way to keep track of nice memories.
1.       Dylan, the cat. He is the adorable new member of our family. He was found by my siblings in the hood of the car. He is full of energy and I just love spending time with him.
2.       Going downtown. There is something so fun of going downtown. I love Buenos Aires, I feel like this city is so beautiful and there is so much diversity going on.
3.       Danish food. We went to a Danish restaurant with my grandparents and aunt this week. It was a lot of fun since my mom’s side of the family is Danish!
4.       Officially becoming a college students. So I finally did the finally touches to be a college student. After a few stops at the University and filling forms. I’m officially in!
5.       Seeing old friends. Yesterday I hang out with some of my friends from 8th grade and it was really nice remembering old memories and catching up.
6.       Bike rides with the sunsets. I love sunsets they are so peaceful so every day at 7pm I’ve decided to ride my bike around and appreciate the sun setting.
7.       Twilight from my window. Cutting down the house under constructions my bedroom has a lovely view, especially at twilight.
8.       New Gabriel García Márquez books. I was at the supermarket the other day and I found some book by García Marquez that made me really want to read more in Spanish. Since I feel in love with A Hundred Days of Solitude I want to give more a try.
9.       New writing inspiration. Earlier this week I was having a crisis because I would open a word document and nothing would come out. I wanted to write but my brain was empty. After some google search, I went and re read some old stuff of mine and completely got new ideas for writing, so I’m excited to get back on that.
10.   Joe Jonas Instagram. Apart for the occasional selfie (which we all appreciate, thank you Joe) this guy’s Instagram is hilarious. I keep cracking up and open Instagram as soon as I get a new notifications from his tweets.

What made you happy this week?
