Met Gala 2016 Part 2: Make up and Hair

From left to right: Hailee Steinfeld, Taylor Swift, Poppy Delevingne, Allison Williams

The first thing that call my eyes from Hailee’s look was her eye make up, and if I’m honest I am not a fan of her lipstick but that is because I always prefer a more matte lipstick. I was disappointed in Taylor’s dress because I always really like them but this year I was not a big fan, her hair however, I’ve been obsessed since day 1, I love how she dared to bleach it, and her makeup was so beautiful, the way they highlighted her lips and leaving a more casual look for her eyes. Poppy also went for a dark lipstick which I am currently obsessed with (must.get.more). Lastly, Alison Willms lipstick was also one of my favorite but what really stuck me from her look is her hair and the little silver detail on the side.

Amandla Stenberg, Lily Collins, Elle Fanning, Kate Upton

Everyone knows I adore septums rings and everytime I get to wear my fake one I do (don’t care how many times they tell me to stop), so of course I was drawn to her look, also I want whatever she is doing to her eyebrows done with mines. But if we are talking about eyebrows everyone knows Lily Collins is the queen here, I think they are every girls dreams (I’m no exception).  Regarding Elle’s her makeup is so natural, I love it, as well as her high pony tail. And Kate just looks flawless, no words needed.

Amber Heard, Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Selena Gomez

I don’t know what to say about Amber because she just looks flawless, the way her hair looks with her red lipstick and natural eye makeup is beautiful beyond words. I love Bella’s hair it has a old movie star vibe and her natural makeup look just brings out her green eyes. Do we even have to talk about how flawless Kendall Jenner is? Because I think there are no words needed. Selena Gomez make up and high pony tails just brings out how beautiful her face is and I adore it.

Emma Roberts; Emma Stone; Jourdan Dunn; Kristen Stewart

Emma Roberts really stole the show with her dress in my other post, her makeup was also beautiful and I love her hair with the braids on the side, her purple eyeliner brought up her honey brown eyes. Emma Stone with dark hair looks as amazing as Emma with red hair, and everyone know I love dark makeup so I will be stealing that look. Jourdan Dunn’s hair was literally goals, love the nice ombre with black and grey. Lastly, Kristen Stewart make up, not only stuck with the theme but I always enjoy a dramatic eye look, plus love her hair.

A letter to 2015

Dear 2015,
You have been a crazy year. From day one I knew you were a hard one. You weren’t the best year, I’m sorry but it is the truth. You were just one of those year where one month I felt like I was at the top of the world and the next I didn’t want to go out of my room at all. You were not an easy year.
You are of those year that looking back I will realize I experienced a lot of things for the first time. Things that were scary at first, or I could not wrapped my head around to it. I went to my first club in 2015 and actually enjoyed myself. I had my heart broken for the first time, but before this I experience that feeling of caring so much for someone like I never did before. I experienced real failure for the first time and how much it can hurt. I experience winning money for my own, I made on my own for the first time. Finally, I experience, the heart breaking feeling of knowing you won’t see someone you’ve know your entire life, ever again.
This new experiences came with different lessons. I learned how much friend’s means and how no one, absolutely no one should come between you and a friend. I learned that is ok to like someone a lot and want to fall in love even if it will hurt later. I learn that parties are ok and seeing people drink and smoke is normal. I learn that college is based on experience and we are all going to fail at one point or another. I also learn little things, like how to separate different color clothes before washing them. I learn that living alone is more than staying up until whenever you want. I learn that it is totally fine to call your mom crying and that your bathroom will flood. Lastly, I learned that family comes first, and to enjoy every second you have with them, because you never know when it is the last time.
2015, you were a year I will not remember with pain but a year I will remember by everything I learn and experience. So dear 2015, thank you for everything I learn and everything I experience, but I’m hoping 2016 will be better and I just have a feeling it will be my year, thanks to all the new experience 2015 has given me and all the lessons learn.

2016 Resolutions!

I really can’t believe I’m writing my 2016 resolutions, it feels like this year just went by way too fast. But here are the things I hope to achieve next year:
1.       Forget the pain. Being honest, 2015 was a year I did feel a lot of pain and it was hard to get up when I fell. So next year I hope to forget all the pain I felt in 2015 and start fresh.
2.       Live to the fullest/ go on adventures. I feel like I always say I need to go on more adventures but never actually do it or be more spontaneous, next year I hope to finally do it. I want to live life the fullest, not only do random things but do things I haven’t before. Also, I want to go on more adventures even it if the smallest thing like explore a new part in town, I want to do it.
3.       Good grades. Every single students has this goal every year, but unlike this year, I promise myself I will actually work harder to get better grades and do better at school. It is going to be a hard one but I really hope to achieve it.
4.       Stay healthy. I wasn’t the healthiest person this year. I work out less and did not eat healthy, but I made a promise this year I will get back on track and even better. I promise myself I will work out more, and even promise to get back into swimming which is something I know I need to do.
5.       Drive. I said this, this year, but I did get better at driving and I promise to myself I will finally get out there next year. It kind of hard since I’m really scare of it but I want to finally achieve it.
6.       Stop overthinking. I got told this a lot this year, that I was overthinking. So next year I hope I can stop this horrible habit. Not only in the sense of “this is eating me alive” but in the sense of just do it, not over think things through and dare myself to do more.
7.       Ignore what others think/say. And this one goes hand in hand with my blog. I need to stop thinking what others might say, continue posting and doing what makes me happy. But also, in the little habits in life, like what I wear or what I do, I just need to do what makes me happy
8.       Write. I did write more this year, but I want to continue, to get better at it and to achieve more with it. I didn’t write a lot of poetry this year, so next year I hope to do that more. Also, I want to write more for the blog.
9.       Less social media, more contact with people. I really want to use less social media next year. I try this, this year but fail. If we are being honest, I used less Twitter and Facebook this year, which I’m glad. I want to be less dependent on social media and more contact with people. I want to have face to face conversation and less WhatsApp chats.
10.   Save money. I might even start working this year to get money, a small job, but I want to win some money of my own. I promise that next year I will go on vacation with my friends and for that I need more money, so I hope to work to get money.
11.   Just be happy. Like I said before 2015 was not the best year and I was not the happiest if we are being honest. So after doing all the things I’ve mention above, I really hope to be happy next year.
What are your New Year resolutions?
